American advanced aerospace technology brought more excitements to travelers Home and Abroad News Press delegation visited Boeing Headquarter

Seattle, Washington is a prosperous industrial city in America. Boeing Company is located in this beautiful city. On May 14th, our delegation visited Boeing and had a chance to get closer to American advanced aviation technology.    Boeing Company is the leading company in the global aerospace industry, and it is also the largest civil and military aircraft manufacturer in the world. In addition, Boeing Company designs and makes rotorcraft, electronic and defensive system, missiles, satellites, launchers and the advanced information and communication systems. Boeing Company is ranked as one of the largest exporters in America.    As the world's leading producer and service provider of military aircraft, defense missiles, space rockets and space stations as well as the largest manufacturer of civil and commercial airplanes, Boeing keeps all production data at the highest confidentiality. During the visit, we were not allowed to carry any personal belongings and electronic devices such as purses, cameras, mobile phones and so on.    At 2pm, we arrived at Boeing on time and were arranged to watch two movies. One movie was about the history of aviation industry and Boeing Company. The second one was to show fast assembling of an airplane within 7 minutes. Boeing Company currently provides aircrafts and related services to 145 companies around the world. Its history reflects the first century's development of human being flying. Over the past 40 years, Boeing Company has been known as the major commercial airplane manufacturer and the leader in the areas of military airplane, satellites, defensive system, space rockets and space stations.    We followed after a Boeing staff and visited two assembly workshops. Both workshops have huge U-shaped workflow production lines. After turning 180-degree in this U-shaped production line, an airplane is completed and ready for fly test. All airplanes will be first fly-tested by Boeing pilots and then tested by airline pilots.    We were lucky to see a 787 model in the assembly line as well. This airplane is truly made for dream route. The porthole is big enough for every passenger to view the beautiful sky from their seats. Its spacious round bar offers convenience and comfort to all business travelers. All Nippon Airways purchased the first 787 airplane, and Hainan Airlines was the first Chinese company bought this model. 787 model is designed and produced with the most advanced technology with a number of unique features, such as lighter weight, more antiseptic carbon fiber materials, more fuel efficient and less noisy pollutions.    After the visit, we were inspired by the advanced aviation technology. In the visitor area at Boeing, our delegation members took many pictures to catch the moments of rapid development of the aviation industry in the United States.
