   March 8th, a series of ceremony events of the eighth anniversary of Home and Abroad News Press took place in the Beijing Planning Exhibition International Hall. The events included "The Eighth Anniversary of Home and Abroad News Press", "Founding Home and Abroad News Press Council" and "Home and Abroad News - Man of the Times" Awarding Ceremony.    In today's world, Home and Abroad News magazine, as the mainstream media, introduced the "Man of the Times" honor which is a high recognition for significant contributors on promoting international harmony. To establish innovative new time spirit, recommended by other mainstream media, seven honored guests were selected as the "Man of the Times" for 2008.
   In the ceremony, many overseas organizations sent greeting faxes and letters to the Press. Also, a number of artists and calligraphers performed and presented their works as special gifts for the eighth anniversary of Home and Abroad News Press.
